Jasper’s Rainbow Tree

We have to thank Warwick maternity unit for another fantastic fundraising effort for Jasper’s rainbow. A beautiful rainbow Christmas tree, looking like it was made for us, stood pride of place on labour ward for the festive period, bringing a little rainbow magic to the unit. It was dedicated to Jasper and all babies “born but couldn’t stay”. Staff members were invited to write a Christmas message on a gift tag to hang on the tree in exchange for a donation to Jasper’s rainbow. Very soon the tree was covered in sparkly gift tags from staff members from the maternity and special care baby unit and all over the hospital and also patients who had seen the tree and wanted to make a donation.

Special thanks to Yvonne Hood for organising the tree as a beautiful surprise for us, Wendy Jones for agreeing to its purchase, Melanie Jones and Rebecca Mcneil for accessorising it out of their own pockets and Sandra Murphy for organising the lights.

Thank you all so much for raising £150.

Looking forward to many more rainbow Christmas’ to come.

We have more fundraising events coming up including a change in Jon’s usual mode of transport so watch this space. Thanks everyone for all last year’s donations, you help to keep Jasper’s rainbow shining brightly.
